- Congratulations to the MHS Concert and Jazz Bands. Both Groups performed at the IHSA Organizational Contest in Nashville, IL the past weekend and received "I" (superior) rating from all judges.
- Congratulations to Aaron Beavers on being selected to the 2013 BOA Honor Band! Aaron will rehearse and perform in the 2013 Rose Bowl Parade on New Year's Day
