| Concept: | "Jazz Progression" tracks the evolution of Jazz beginning with a parade down the streets of New Orleans. Then, we move to the big band era with a big band treatment of "St. Louis Blues" featuring all sections in individual features. Then the club scene is portrayed through "My Funny Valentine" featured soloist in the wind section and color guard. Finally, the show concludes with a trip to New York's famed Birdland featuring the Jazz fusion chart of the same name. |
