Welcome To CE BANDS

We are VERY excited to hopefully be welcoming the BIGGEST Freshman Band Class that has yet to enter the CE BANDS program at Murphysboro High School in the last 6 years! With this exciting news, we do have to start planning more in terms of Band Uniforms, Shoes, and Concert Black. Incoming Freshmen students, along with Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors for the 2026-2027 School Year, will need to get fitted for these items. This will take place Tuesday, March 24th, Wednesday, March 25th, and Thursday, March 26th from 5:30-7:00 PM in the MHS Band Room. Please make sure that your student shows up to one of these three nights to be fitted. We will keep a record of all students each night. If you have any questions on this, please let me know. Spring Training for all students (2026-2027) will be starting at the end of this month, with the first rehearsal happening Monday, March 30th (6-8 PM). Please click here for more information.

The Activity Fee for this year is $125 across the board for everyone. Please send the Activity Fee Form in with payment(s). 8th Grade students marching with us this Fall do not pay the Activity Fee.
